Your photos and privacy.

VailFreelance uses your uploads to make the photo pack you request. Contact brendanvail@vailfreelance.com about privacy or deletion.

What we use

We store uploaded photos, finished images, filenames, batch references and processing status in private storage. Photoroom receives your photos for background removal and, when chosen, background generation. Stripe handles checkout and payment details; the app stores the checkout reference and payment status, not your full card number. Hosting is provided through ChatGPT Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure.

Upload only photos you have permission to use. Avoid private documents and unnecessary personal information. Product photos are not sent to Meta by this app.

Access and removal

Your pack is available in the browser that created it for 24 hours after batch creation. Save the ZIP before that time. You can delete it sooner with Delete batch & start over.

Expired files are removed automatically during maintenance after their 24-hour access window ends. Maintenance runs when the site checks availability and through an hourly maintenance check. Service interruptions can delay deletion; new uploads pause when cleanup fails and can reopen after a successful retry. Removal from this app does not erase a Stripe receipt or independently retained service-provider records.

Cookies and advertising

An essential browser cookie lets you access your private batch. Local browser storage remembers your pack and your privacy choice. Short-lived, hashed network identifiers are used to limit abusive uploads.

Measurement is optional. Until you allow it, we do not create a measurement visit or load Meta Pixel. If you allow measurement, we record a random browser-session reference, a broad source category (Meta-tagged or other), and whether that visit led to a saved upload, completed preview, checkout or server-confirmed purchase. The session reference lasts up to 24 hours in this tab. Optional records are retained for up to 90 days and removed during automatic maintenance; interruptions can delay removal. These records contain no photos, filenames, raw advertising click IDs, email addresses or card details.

When Meta advertising measurement is enabled and you allow it, Meta can receive browser and network information, the page address, visits, uploads, preview completions, checkout starts and verified purchase value. We do not add your photos, filenames, email or payment details to those events. ViewContent means the offer was viewed, not that a photo was uploaded.

You can preview, pay and download without allowing measurement. Change Cookie choices near the top of the workbench at any time. Declining stops future measurement, removes this session’s optional site records and asks Meta to revoke consent. It cannot recall events already sent to Meta. A browser Global Privacy Control signal disables measurement. Essential private-pack access and payment records continue to work.

Free demos, Stripe test payments, owner verification and explicitly marked test visits are separated in the site report. Tests do not send new Meta conversion events. Browser settings and blockers can prevent events from arriving. Consented site visits and tagged links do not prove Meta ad attribution; use Stripe for the full payment record.

Questions or removal requests

Email support with your pack reference or receipt. Never send passwords, API keys or card details. Copies you download are under your control. See Photoroom privacy, Stripe privacy and Meta privacy for their handling of information.
